Scholarships established for LGBT college students are available from several public and private organizations, as well as individual donors. Some welcome all LGBT applicants, while others may focus on specific subgroups. Check out these lists of LGBT scholarships.
The Campus Pride Index is an effective, ongoing measurement to improve campus LGBTQ policies, programs, and practices. The index tool includes 50+ self-assessment questions, which correspond to eight different LGBTQ-friendly factors. Questions were weighted in order to emphasize and add value to specific LGBTQ components which were determined to contribute to a more inclusive, welcoming and respectful LGBTQ and ally campus. All eight LGBTQ-friendly factors receive the same weight in the overall score.

onePULSE Scholarships – The onePULSE Foundation awards 49 scholarships annually, each up to $10,000 for use at an accredited institution of higher learning, including career and technical schools in honor of the 49 lives lost in the PULSE Nightclub shooting.
