You and Your Child’s Rights in School/Academics

Your child has a right to receive an equal education that’s free from discrimination, regardless of their gender identity.

If your child is experiencing discrimination based on their gender identity (which is protected under Title IX), document everything, and reach out to the Office for Civil Rights to make a report.
