New Queer Youth Nutrition (QYN - pronounced "keen") Program
With the help of a “Healthy Community Zones” (HCZ) grant from the MDHHS, Stand with Trans is launching an exciting new program! Our Queer Youth Nutrition (QYN - pronounced Keen) program is intended to help provide meal prep how-tos, meals and nutritional knowledge for queer youth (13-24) and their loved ones who live or attend school in the city of Detroit.
As we gear up to start this program, we will be running focus groups to hear from those who are interested in participating about what specifically they would like to see as a part of it. If you are interested in making your voice heard and directing this program to be what you’re looking for, fill out the screener here.
