Daniel Blumrosen (he/they)

Therapist

“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.” – Simone Weil.

Hi, I’m Daniel. I offer a warm, relational approach to therapy that combines attachment-based, somatic, and trauma-informed mindfulness practices with the many pragmatic tools I’ve gathered in my 20 years of working with individuals, couples and groups of all ages. I’ve worked with clients addressing gender, neurotypical exploration/celebration, relational challenges, depression, anxiety, fear, and spiritual/emotional life transitions. As a trans therapist myself, I bring a social justice lens to my work and an awareness that many folks come to therapy with race, class, gender, disability and other forms of minority or oppression related stress and stories that require belief, care and informed attention. An accompanied life supports greater ease in these challenging times. I am here to help.”

Brittany Rivers (They/Them)/Rivers Wellness

Therapist

Hello, I’m a licensed mental health counselor and part of the queer community (queer, non-binary, neuroqueer). While in graduate school, I conducted research on increasing counselor competency in working with LGBT clients and have taken multiple trainings since then to continue to increase my knowledge and skillset. I am trained in dialectical behavioral therapy and I’ve studied mindfulness-based therapies to support others to reconnect with themselves in a self-compassionate way. I hope to create an authentic, nonjudgmental and collaborative space with clients to assist them in moving through difficult thoughts and feelings. I take a systems/decolonizing approach in my work exploring the impacts of living within current socioeconomic, political and cultural systems on our mental health as well as historical factors that have led to where we are today. I enjoy supporting clients to become allies to themselves and build community that validates who they are. I am always learning and strive to offer services that are inclusive and affirming.

I welcome the opportunity to incorporate your spirituality and connection to nature into our time together as well.

Paul Wierzbicki

Paul Wierzbicki LLMSW, CFSW, GCDF (he/him or they/them)

Therapist

Paul is Queer, here, and ready to help you heal!

Before they were a therapist, they were in the patient’s seat. He knows firsthand how anxiety provoking and uncomfortable opening up and telling your story is; however, he also knows how amazing it feels to regain control of your anxiety and/or depression and heal. (Amongst other symptoms, too!)

Paul helps his patients through validation and using methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through a trauma informed approach. He practices through a lens of non-judgement to help work through the shame and guilt that is associated with trauma, abuse, bully, and other common experiences in the LGBT community.

Their, apparently, radical philosophy to therapy is that YOU are the expert. He believes he is just there to help you make the changes you want to make. At the end of the day, we have the same goal: Help you start living your most authentic life.

I am a person-centered therapist with a feminist and culturally humble perspective, with a focus on individual needs and goals as well as an awareness of how the world around you impacts your mental health. I’m committed to providing an affirming and sex-positive space for LGBTQ+ and transgender clients, and folks in ethically non-monogamous relationships, and other people with identities that are marginalized. I use a lens of minority stress to recognize impacts of capitalism, racism, misogyny, and other forms of systemic inequality on clients’ mental and physical health and wellbeing.
