Descriptions of Programming -
QYN consists of 3 different programs:
Nutrition Class, Cooking Class, and Family Dinner.
Nutrition Class: This class takes place on the 1st Thursday of every month and is focused on teaching participants about the various factors that contribute to overall nutrition. Taught by our resident nutrition expert, Sage Sherlock, these classes consist of an instructional portion as well as a cooking portion in which the participants prepare a recipe that relates to that month's topic.
Cooking Class: This class takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Taught by Chef Mikal Jones, each class is focused on preparing a relevant, easy recipe as a class as well as handing out the recipe for participants to take home and prepare on their own.
Family Dinner: These dinners happen on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month and are free, nutritious meals where participants can gather, eat, and meet other members of the LGBT+ community in their area.

At each and every QYN session, participants take home grocery gift cards as
well as additional gifts for participating.
