If you are a caregiver of color to a trans teen:
YOUR VOICE MATTERS: Sharing your experiences will help expand a resource designed with and for families raising trans teens.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Join a supportive 6-week virtual digital storytelling workshop.
  • Connect and build community with other families like yours as you share a story from your life.
  • Support the creation of online tools to support families of trans teens. To see similar videos made by young people, click here.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
  • Your participation will take about 20 hours across 8 weeks, including attending virtual workshop sessions and creating your story.
  • Your participation will be confidential, meaning your identity and your family members’ identities will not be shared with others outside of the workshop.
  • The workshop will be held in English but we welcome bilingual participants (English and any other language).
  • You will be compensated for your time.
  • If you need an accommodation, please reach out to the research team to discuss possibilities for participation.
This study is just one part of a larger project with the possibility of future participation opportunities if additional funding is secured.
